The Reason Behind My Kitchen Shade Decision & Sneak Peek at Future Plans!
After a LOT of back and forth, countless Instagram Polls, and multiple quote revisions, I finally settled on the warm, beige, textured “Solars 3” material for our kitchen window shade - and I’m so happy with it! Here’s the reason behind my decision…
I based my decision on my future vision for our kitchen. We currently have an all-white kitchen; a classic look that many folks love. But I have always wanted to bring in some warmth, a touch of brass, and a little color. I’m not sure when I’ll begin working on this project, or what the exact details will be, but I imagine it will develop over time, starting with one part and adding onto it slowly.
Below I have referenced a couple of directions I could take things. The common items are brass cabinet hardware and some wooden accents for the kitchen counter like a platter, bowl, or beautiful cutting boards. As for the paint color(s), I could go dark & moody or light & fresh - I’ll need to purchase some samples to see what feels right IRL.
Needless to say, this is a project I am very excited to get started on (probably next year), and I can’t wait to share my progress with all of you!
