A 3 Month Milestone & Some Drool Worthy Coffee Tables I’ve Been Eyeing…

Today marks 3 months since we moved into our very own place in the Bay Area! I can’t believe it. Sometimes it feels like we have always lived here. And other times, I look around at all the projects that are incomplete, and I’m reminded that we have only been here for 3 short months…12 weeks…and that, as I often preach, all good things take time.

As I scroll through all the photos (maybe too many TBH) of the past year, I am amazed at how “lived in” our house already feels. Our living room, for example, has come such a long way since we first got our keys. Of course, I still have a list of pieces I want to layer in, but I am also grateful for the things we do own already and how wonderful they are.

The Sunday Sofa was at the very top of both Casey’s and my list of furniture for the home. This piece is truly one of my first design loves. The oversized cushions are cozy and welcoming and the slightly recessed base lightens things up; the sofa almost appears to be floating! What makes it truly lounge worthy and allows you to “sink in” are the cushions. They are covered with high-resilience foam and then wrapped in a lot of feather and down. It requires a little extra love, as I like to call it, but this is a sofa you will never want to get out of ☺️

This brings me to our Custom Armless Jasper Sofa. I selected and customized this piece to help balance things out. It features a multi-layer foam seat with down-alternative filling which provides a soft and supportive sit and requires minimal fluffing. The fabric, Linen Weave in Biscotti, is a durable and stain-resistant material and is pet and kid friendly (not that we have either right now, but you never know 😏).

Casey and I love to have people over and we wanted to make sure the seating would be comfortable and accessible for everyone. Our Sunday and Jasper sofas do this perfectly. And the proximity to our dining room and kitchen means people can grab an armchair or a stool anytime!

As for what’s next…here are some coffee tables I’ve been drooling over recently. What are your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!
